১৫ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অংশগ্রহণে চুয়েটে জমজমাট উৎসব
– প্রথম আলো
ট্রাসের নিজস্ব ওজন, একেকটি দলের উপস্থাপনা এবং ট্রাস লোডিং মেশিনের শক্তি বিশ্লেষণের ভিত্তিতে মূল্যায়ন করা হয় এ প্রতিযোগিতায়। গত শনিবার অনুষ্ঠিত এ আয়োজনে ১৫টি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের মোট ৯৫টি দলের ২৫০ জন শিক্ষার্থী অংশগ্রহণ করেন। ‘এসিআই ন্যাশনাল কনক্রিট ফেস্ট-২০২৩’ শীর্ষক প্রতিযোগিতাটির আয়োজক আমেরিকান কনক্রিট ইনস্টিটিউট (এসিআই) স্টুডেন্ট চ্যাপটার চুয়েট। শিক্ষার্থীদের কনক্রিটবিষয়ক প্রতিযোগিতা, সেমিনার, নেটওয়ার্কিং হাব, প্রদর্শনী ও কর্মশালা থাকছে পুরো আয়োজনে। টেকসই নির্মাণকে উৎসাহ দিতে এ আয়োজন করা হয়েছে। পুরকৌশলের শিক্ষার্থী, শিক্ষক, পেশাদার এবং সংশ্লিষ্টদের জন্য একটি প্ল্যাটফর্ম তৈরি করাও প্রতিযোগিতাটির উদ্দেশ্য।
